ROSEMARY M. MCANDREW, PhD, CPCU, CRM, CIC, AAM

Dr. McAndrew is the consulting principal of McAndrew Risk Management, Inc., a Boston based risk management and insurance consulting firm that she founded in 2003.  She has over 40 years of experience in the industry.

 

Prior to forming the company, she consulted at Tillinghast – Towers Perrin in Boston MA.  Earlier in her career,  McAndrew served as Director of Operations and Quality Control  for a regional insurance broker and third party administrator, where she provided technical expertise in alternative risk financing, workers compensation cost management, and analyses of coverage adequacy.  Additionally, she managed underwriting of property and casualty personal and commercial lines and financial services products in both the company and agency space. ​​​​

She is a member of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, National Society of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, and Self-Insurance Institute of America where she is past Vice President - Property and Casualty Committee.

Throughout her career, McAndrew has written about innovative risk and alternative financing solutions, and addressed national audiences on myriad topics within the risk and insurance arena.
